A little bit of Macro..

I love to take photos of people, but I love landscape and nature photography just as much- it's a completely different world when you're looking at nature through a lens or under a microscope!

I haven't yet had the chance to invest in a Macro lens for close-up shots. But, as a thank you present for maternity pictures, a friend of mine got me a close-up lens set for my digital DSLR. These "magnifying glasses" allow the lens focal length to be magnified (these photos were taken using a 10X magnifier)- while not the same as a Macro lens, I am still pretty pleased with the results of my first try!
